Aims and Objectives
- To encourage collaborations for rapid large-scale replication and meta-analyses, following a conventional GWAS consortium structure
- To provide an online forum to publicise potential data sources
- To prioritise the analysis of Illumina HM450K BeadChip and GWAS data
- To include all tissue types and disease/phenotypic subgroups.
Criteria for inclusion
- HM450K data, existing or planned, in any tissue & phenotypic subgroup
- Genome-wide SNP data on the same individuals, existing or planned
- Commitment to be involved in collaborative studies
- Commitment to perform replication studies (i.e. if HM450K or GWAS data are not available)
- Commitment to contribute to the development of data harmonization and analysis methods relevant to interrogating the genetic basis of DNA methylation variation.
