Aims and Objectives

  • To encourage collaborations for rapid large-scale replication and meta-analyses, following a conventional GWAS consortium structure
  • To provide an online forum to publicise potential data sources
  • To prioritise the analysis of Illumina HM450K BeadChip and GWAS data
  • To include all tissue types and disease/phenotypic subgroups.

Criteria for inclusion

  • HM450K data, existing or planned, in any tissue & phenotypic subgroup
  • Genome-wide SNP data on the same individuals, existing or planned
  • Commitment to be involved in collaborative studies
  • Commitment to perform replication studies (i.e. if HM450K or GWAS data are not available)
  • Commitment to contribute to the development of data harmonization and analysis methods relevant to interrogating the genetic basis of DNA methylation variation.
